Un cultivar olandez cu o coroană conică densă și largă, cu un vârf ascuțit. 'Brabant' are o ramură centrală bună și continuă, cu ramuri verticale oblice, mai ferme decât la specie. Înălțime 20 - 25 m, lățime aproximativ 15 m. Trunchiul neted este gri închis, iar crengile tinere sunt gri verzui și fetru. Frunzele sunt mai mult sau mai puțin rotunde, de culoare verde închis mat, cu o parte inferioară densă și albă-feliată caracteristică. Toamna, se colorează în galben pal și este de lungă durată.
