O selecție canadiană din T. x flavescens care are o creștere puternică în tinerețe, dar care mai târziu își pierde vigoarea. Formează o coroană rotundă și uniformă, cu un trunchi drept mort și ramuri cu creștere verticală. Atinge o înălțime de 18 - 25 m și o lățime de aproximativ 15 m. Frunzele de culoare verde închis strălucitor sunt glabre pe dedesubt și rămân frumos verzi până la sfârșitul verii și rămân mult timp pe copac toamna. Marginea frunzelor este grosier dințată. Înflorirea exuberantă începe la sfârșitul lunii iunie. Hibridul T. x flavescens este, cel mai probabil, o încrucișare între T. cordata și T. americana și nu a mai rămas aproape nicăieri în cultură.
