Robinia pseudoacacia "Nyirsegi" este o selecție de origine maghiară care crește rapid și are un trunchi drept cu ramuri puternic ascendente. Selecționat special pentru fibra sa puternică, de aceea este folosit pentru unelte de mână. Înălțime 20 - 25 m. Datorită creșterii sale viguroase, este adesea folosit ca portaltoi pentru 'Umbraculifera'. Caracteristic sunt spinii mari de pe ramuri. Frunzele compuse sunt de culoare albastru-verde închis.
