Robinia x ambigua este un hibrid între R. pseudoacacia și R. viscosa. Prezintă multe asemănări cu R. pseudoacacia, dar are frunze puțin mai mici. Crenguțele tinere lipicioase sunt o caracteristică a R. viscosa. 'Bellarosea' este un arbore mic, cu un port elegant. Coroana este rotundă și deschisă. Spre deosebire de R. x ambigua, "Bellarosea" are ramuri cu spini puternici. Frunzele imparepenate măsoară până la aproximativ 24 cm și sunt formate din 13 - 21 de foliole verzi eliptice.
