Pom de talie medie, cu creștere bună și ramură de inimă continuă. 'Marvellous' Formează un arbore piramidal regulat care se lărgește mai târziu. Scoarța este asemănătoare cu cea a speciei, aproape neagră și cu caneluri aspre. Crenguțele tinere sunt gri-felițate și poartă frunze de culoare verde pal. Frunzele de vară sunt verde închis lucios și au lobi ascuțiți, la fel ca specia. Arborele își păstrează frunzele până la primul îngheț. Datorită formei sale regulate, este potrivit pentru bulevarde, spații verzi largi și margini de drumuri. Un arbore foarte rezistent la vânt și sănătos. Ca și alți Q. cerris, poate fi folosit și în zonele industriale.
