'Oshidori' este un arbust mare sau un copac mic de aproximativ 5 m înălțime. Coroana este în formă de vază largă și dens ramificată. Frunzele sunt eliptice și destul de lungi, de până la aproximativ 5 cm, și au marginea frunzei grosier zimțată. Când se desfac, frunzele sunt ușor bronzate, mai târziu, în timpul verii, sunt de culoare verde închis, iar toamna devin de la roșu-portocaliu la roșu intens.
