Prunus avium "Van" este un cireș dulce cu o coroană semi-deschisă de 6-8 m înălțime. Coroana este formată inițial din ramuri principale puternic ascendente, dar mai târziu devine larg ovoidală și ușor neregulată în formă. Pomul înflorește în martie-aprilie cu flori albe.
