Malus "Evereste" este un arbore mic, cu o coroană inițial piramidală, care se lărgește mai târziu. Poziția ramurilor este răspândită, iar mai târziu se îndoaie ușor. Trunchiul și crengile sunt goale și de culoare maro închis. Frunzele ușor lobate și de culoare verde închis rămân mult timp toamna, devenind galben-portocalii. Florile mari de aproape 6 cm sunt dispuse în ciorchini de 4 până la 8 împreună. În muguri, culoarea este roz purpuriu închis, iar odată deschise sunt de un alb strălucitor.
