Selecție găsită într-un grup de arbori existent la Schijndel (NL) de către domnul P.C.M. van den Berk. Arborele se remarcă prin forma foarte subțire a coroanei piramidale. Din câte se știe, acesta atinge o înălțime de aproximativ 10 - 12 m. Trunchiul are deja de la o vârstă fragedă scoarța aspră și corcodușită. Ramurile au, de asemenea, o scoarță moale de plută. Frunza este larg ovoidală până la ovală, cu marginea frunzei dublu zimțată și este ușor păroasă. Baza frunzei este vizibil în formă de inimă. Inflorescența este formată din catrințe masculine care atârnă grațios și flori feminine discrete, de culoare roșu-violet. Acestea apar cu mult înainte de apariția frunzelor. Dă foarte puține nuci și are un sistem radicular adânc. Puternic și puțin sensibil la boli, tolerează bine seceta. De asemenea, tolerează bine pavajul.
