Acesta este un soi cu ramuri orizontale care cad neregulat la vârf. Arborele crește foarte larg și formează o coroană piramidală largă. Coroana este mai deschisă decât cea a speciei. Acele sunt adunate în grupuri de până la 30. Acele sunt de culoare albastru-verzui închis și sunt sensibil mai lungi decât la specie și la alte soiuri; până la 8 cm.
