Amelanchier arborea 'Robin Hill' este un arbore mic, cu o siluetă de iarnă remarcabilă prin ramificarea fină. Scoarța este izbitoare iarna, cu o culoare gri. Frunzele ovoidale până la ovale inversate, dens păroase, au vârful ascuțit și sunt de culoare verde închis pe partea superioară și verde-cenușiu pe partea inferioară. Toamna, acestea capătă o nuanță spectaculoasă de galben și roșu. Florile sunt în ciorchini mari, lejere și suspendate. În muguri sunt încă roz, dar, odată deschise, sunt complet albe. Cu cât vremea este mai caldă, cu atât florile devin mai albe. Boabele apar toamna și se transformă de la roșu închis la negru. 'Robin Hill' produce puține fructe. Are un sistem radicular superficial și fin. Cerințele față de sol sunt reduse, de preferință ușor calcaros și nu prea umed.
