Aesculus flava "Vestita" a fost distribuit în Țările de Jos de către NAKB. Lemnul de portaltoi provine de la un specimen aflat în Zuiderpark (Haga, Țările de Jos). Acest soi formează un arbore de talie medie, cu o coroană largă, conică și liberă, care devine sferică odată cu vârsta. Înălțimea este de până la 18 m, uneori 25 m. Frunzele în formă de mână sunt de obicei compuse din 5, uneori 7 frunze libere. Acestea au un diametru de până la 15 cm. Frunzele de culoare verde închis sunt doar ușor păroase pe partea inferioară, spre deosebire de pilozitatea densă caracteristică a A. flava f. vestita. Toamna, se colorează în galben-violet și cad relativ repede. Lăstarii tineri și fructele mari sunt otrăvitoare. Tolerează bine pavajul, dar are dificultăți cu sarea de drum. Bine robust și rezistent la climatul urban.
