Acer campestre "Lienco" este un arbore de talie mică până la medie, care inițial are o formă larg columnară, devenind ovoidală mai târziu. Frunzele de culoare verde închis sunt ceva mai puțin ondulate decât cele ale speciei. Primăvara, se colorează ușor în bronz. Frunza are o rezistență destul de mare la mucegai și la acarianul galicol și este lipsită de păianjeni.
