Acer campestre "Eko Effen" este un arbore mic, cu o coroană ovoidală îngustă și densă, ceva mai îngustă decât "Elsrijk". Formează o ramură centrală continuă, creând o formă regulată a coroanei. Frunzele de culoare verde închis sunt ondulate și toamna devin galbene până la galben-maroniu. Este un arbore foarte sănătos, cu o rezistență ridicată la mucegai, păianjenul roșu și acarianul galicol.
