Un cultivar polonez cu o coroană piramidală, mai degrabă îngustă. Arborele are o ramură centrală bună și continuă, din care cresc ramuri verticale oblice. Înălțime 20 - 25 m, lățime aproximativ 8 - 10 m. Trunchiul neted este gri închis, iar crengile tinere sunt gri verzui și asemănătoare cu pâsla. Frunzele sunt mai mult sau mai puțin rotunde, de culoare verde închis mat, cu o parte inferioară remarcabil de densă, albă-feliată. Toamna, devine galben pal și este longeviv.
