Foarte probabil un hibrid între T. cordata și rara T. dasystyla din Crimeea. Formează o coroană ovală cu un trunchi continuu cu ramuri căzute. Acesta necesită o tăiere de susținere bună atunci când este tânăr. Pentru o lungă perioadă de timp, scoarța rămâne subțire, dezvoltând abia mai târziu caneluri adânci. Frunza are baza în formă de inimă strâmbă și vârful scurt și ascuțit. Pețiolul este adesea colorat în roșu, iar marginea frunzei este fin zimțată. Pe partea inferioară, frunza este de culoare verde deschis. Florile parfumate apar în corimbi pendulanți și sunt deosebit de bogate în miere. 'Euchlora' este unul dintre cei mai buni arbori purtători pentru albine. Brățara are o lungime de aproximativ 6,5 cm. Datorită frunzelor sale frumoase și a înfloriturii bogate, 'Euchlora' este foarte popular ca arbore de bulevard și de stradă. Un mare avantaj este infestarea sa scăzută cu afide.
