O selecție columnară cu o tulpină principală remarcabil de dreaptă și ramificare deschisă. 'Tremonia' are o creștere lentă, în special la o vârstă fragedă, și rămâne foarte îngustă chiar și la o vârstă mai înaintată. Înălțimea 10 - 12 m. Lățimea până la aproximativ 5 m. Frunzele în formă de evantai și mugurii de flori sunt pe lăstari scurți. Frunzele sunt dispuse în mănunchiuri de 3 - 5 împreună și au vârful incizat. O valoare ornamentală suplimentară este reprezentată de colorarea toamnei în galben-auriu. 'Tremonia' este o formă masculină extrem de potrivită ca arbore stradal, datorită lipsei de fructe.
