Arbore viguros, de talie medie, cu o coroană piramidală regulată. Crengile anuale sunt de culoare maro închis până la violet. Scoarța mai bătrână este albă și aproape că nu are frunze. Frunzele răsar de culoare roșie-maronie și devin brun-roșiatice în timpul verii. Toamna, poate deveni galben până la portocaliu, în funcție de locație. Provine dintr-o încrucișare între B. populifolia 'Whitespire' și B. pendula 'Crimson Frost'. Este un arbore puternic, care crește bine. Combinația de scoarță albă și frunze închise la culoare îl face ușor de folosit ca solitar sau în grupuri mici. Datorită coroanei sale piramidale, este potrivit și ca arbore de bulevard sau de stradă.
