Amelanchier laevis "Snowflakes" crește inițial ca un arbust mare, destul de zvelt și vertical, dar mai târziu se transformă într-un copac mic, cu o coroană mai largă și ovală. Frunzele de culoare verde închis capătă o culoare slabă de bronz. Este ușor neregulată, larg eliptică și devine galbenă și roșie toamna. În comparație cu alte soiuri, frunzele sunt ceva mai puțin atractive, dar florile de un alb strălucitor sunt remarcabil de mari.
