Acer ×zoeschense "Annae" este un hibrid între A. campestre și A. cappadocicum subsp. lobelii. Acer ×zoeschense 'Annae' are o coroană deschisă, aproape sferică. Arborele are un port regulat, de tip stolonat și poate atinge o înălțime de aproximativ 10 m. Crengile tinere și subțiri care primesc suficientă lumină solară capătă o culoare roșie-brună izbitoare. Ramurile mai bătrâne au o culoare gri-maronie. A. zoeschense "Annae" nu formează un dop pe ramurile sale. Frunzele oarecum asemănătoare cu cele ale lui A. campestre devin purpurii închise la culoare și se transformă încet în verde închis. Marginea frunzelor este mai ondulată decât la A. campestre, iar frunzele sunt ceva mai mari. O valoare ornamentală importantă este reprezentată de colorarea de toamnă a frunzelor strălucitoare de culoare verde închis în multe nuanțe de roșu până la portocaliu.
